What is an Escape Room?

An escape game is a real-life experience where participants are locked in a room and must use elements of the room, the group’s collective knowledge, and wits to discover clues, solve puzzles, and escape and/or find the missing item within a set amount of time.
No. It's actually illegal for us to do that! We are watching on close circuit video systems to ensure safety at all times. You can leave the room if necessary.
We suggest that groups plan for an hour and half for their experience. We ask that groups arrive 10 minutes before the start of your booking to allow your Game Master to brief you on the room, rules, and locks. The room itself lasts 1 hour (unless you escape sooner!) and our staff spends time afterwards debriefing and taking photos for you!
We highly recommend you call or book online to be sure we have availability. We can't guarantee a room unless you've booked it. Walk-Ins are welcome and subject to availability.
Nope! At Captured we believe that mixing groups of strangers takes away from the experience, so we'll never add people to your group.
Everything you need will be provided in the room. No outside knowledge, skills, or tools, are necessary!
Our rooms and puzzles are designed for ages 13+. If you are interested in bringing children, please contact us. All players under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
Some of our games are not wheelchair accessible, so please contact us before you book! We will be able to discuss the most suitable experiences for your group.
